Titan Secondary GTP Birmingham – Interview Procedures

Interviews for the GTP are conducted once an applicant has a supporting school in place, who are willing to employ them for the duration of the programme.  If successful with your application you will be called for an interview. The interview panel will be made up of 3 people a senior member of staff from the employing school, the Subject Leader and the ITT Manager or Coordinator.

Interviews will include:

  1. a presentation by you on the QTS Standards and your Subject Knowledge. This will focus on your prior learning, knowledge and awareness as well as pupil misconceptions within your subject area.
  2. a formal interview
  3. a reading and writing task

Applicants will be notified within 5 working days regarding their success or otherwise. If you require special arrangements or have special needs, you must inform Titan at least 3 days prior to interview.
